What is Mobloom?
Mobloom is a browser-based creature studio for kids and families. Build, paint and animate custom mobs, add visual behaviour rules, test your ideas and export Minecraft Bedrock add-on files.
Does it work with Minecraft Java Edition?
Mobloom exports .mcaddon files for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, not Java Edition. You need your own copy of Minecraft Bedrock to import and use your creature.
Which devices does it work on?
Mobloom runs in a web browser. It is designed for iPad touch and Apple Pencil as well as computers with a mouse. Older devices may be slower with very detailed creatures.
What does it cost?
Free to create. 30 days free to export, then US$9.99/month. Card required for the trial. Cancel anytime. Making, painting and saving are free, with or without a trial.
How do the 30 days free to export work?
A grown-up adds a card in the grown-up area to start 30 days free to export. Nothing is charged when it starts, the first billing date is shown before you confirm, and after 30 days it is US$9.99/month unless you cancel. One trial per family and per card.
How do I cancel?
Cancel the next renewal in the grown-up area. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing; Minecraft exports stay open until the trial ends. Cancelling never deletes anything you made.
Is Mobloom safe for kids?
There is no chat, no messages, no comments, no followers and no likes. A grown-up makes the family account and a child is only a nickname inside it. Card payments are handled by Stripe.
How does exporting work?
In the Minecraft tab, one tap makes a .mcaddon file. Open it on the same device and Minecraft Bedrock imports your creature. Find its spawn egg in the creative inventory.
