Terms of use — draft for legal review
Version 2026-10-22. When a grown-up creates a family account they confirm they are the child’s parent or legal guardian and accept this document; Mobloom records which version they accepted.
Who we are
Mobloom is operated by JM Orbit Labs Enterprise, a business registered in Malaysia (registration number 003902994-D). “Mobloom”, “we” and “us” in these terms mean that business. You can reach us through the Contact page.
Your creations
Mobloom does not claim ownership of the creatures or other creative work you make using Mobloom.
When Mobloom creates a Minecraft export for you, that downloaded file remains available to you independently of your Mobloom subscription.
Mobloom Universe (public sharing)
A grown-up on the family account may offer a child’s creature for public display in the Mobloom Universe. By offering it you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, that the creature and its words are the child’s own work and contain nothing that identifies the child, your family or where you live, and that Mobloom may show them publicly after a person at Mobloom has checked them. Mobloom may decline, suspend or remove any creature at any time. You may take a creature back at any time from the grown-up area. If you allow downloads, other families with a Mobloom plan may download the Minecraft file of that creature for their own use; you may switch that off at any time. The Universe has no comments, messages, likes or rankings, and Mobloom shows no download counts publicly.
Grown-up accounts
Mobloom family accounts are created and managed by grown-ups.
Children do not need their own Mobloom account, email address or password.
Inside a family account, a maker can have a nickname and their own creature shelf.
Keeping creatures safe
Mobloom is designed with several ways to protect your work, including automatic local saving, cloud saving where available, project history and Creature Rescue.
No software can guarantee that data will never be lost.
If a creature is especially important to you, keeping an exported copy gives you another independent copy of your work.
Minecraft
Mobloom is an independent product and is not an official Minecraft product.
It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
Mobloom creates files intended for Minecraft Bedrock. Minecraft may change over time, and those changes can affect how Mobloom exports work.
Using Mobloom responsibly
Don’t use Mobloom to break the law, interfere with the service, attempt to access another family’s data, or deliberately harm Mobloom or its users.
Plans and billing
Prices (USD). Mobloom Mob Creator is US$9.99 a month: the creature maker, cloud saving and Minecraft files, for the whole family. Prices include any tax we are required to collect unless the checkout page says otherwise. If we add other makers later, their prices will be shown before you can buy them.
Free to create. Creating a grown-up account is free. Designing, painting, animating, testing, saving and editing creatures in Mobloom are free and do not need a trial, a subscription or a payment card.
Free trial. Making Minecraft files needs a subscription. New families may start one 30-day free trial of it: a grown-up adds a valid payment card and explicitly accepts the subscription in the grown-up area, and the trial starts at that moment — not when the account is created. Nothing is charged when the trial starts. Before you add the card we show the exact monthly price (US$9.99) and the exact date of the first charge, which is the day the trial ends, and we charge nothing before that date. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged, and Minecraft files stay available until the trial ends. After the trial ends without a cancellation, the subscription renews at US$9.99/month. One free trial per family and per payment card: if a card has already carried a Mobloom trial, the subscription starts straight away at the full price and we say so before you confirm.
Renewal. The subscription begins on the date shown when you start the trial and renews automatically each month on the same day, at the price shown in your grown-up area, until you cancel.
Changing your plan. If a change to your plan is ever offered from the grown-up area, it takes effect immediately, is charged or credited in proportion to the rest of the month, and the exact amount and date are shown before you confirm. During the free trial nothing is charged either way.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from the grown-up area. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you have already paid for, and paid access continues until that period ends; after that, Minecraft files are locked. Creating, saving and editing are free and never lock. If you cancel during the free trial you are not charged, and Minecraft files stay available until the trial ends. Nothing you made is deleted when you cancel.
Refunds. Ordinary cancellations are non-refundable. This does not limit any refund or cancellation right you have under the law where you live, your rights in a payment dispute, or Stripe’s own rules — where those apply, they apply.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it. Paid access continues for seven days after the end of the paid period while that happens; if no payment lands, the paid parts lock until one does. Your creatures stay safe throughout.
Competitions. From time to time we may run a competition, such as the Mobloom Creator Challenge. Each has its own rules page (for example /challenge), which says who may enter, in which countries, that entry and voting are free, how the winners are chosen, how ties are broken, what the prizes and participation rewards are and the conditions on them, and how to complain. Those rules apply alongside these terms. Prizes and rewards are months of the Mobloom subscription on the winning family’s own account, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Mobloom does not store your full card number. Stripe shares limited billing records with us (payment status, last four digits, invoice records) so we can run your family plan — see our Privacy Policy.
After a trial or subscription ends, your cloud creatures stay available in your family account for 90 days. After that, we may remove them from active cloud storage — that cleanup is not automated yet, so timing can vary. Copies already on your device or exported files are not deleted by that step. We can’t promise recovery after cloud removal, and backups or legal retention may apply as described in Privacy.
Downloaded Minecraft exports and creatures saved on your own device always remain yours, independent of any subscription.
Account and data deletion
Grown-ups can delete their family account and its cloud data from the grown-up area, or ask us to do it through the Contact page. During early private testing we handle requests sent to us by hand.
Before deletion, Mobloom should provide a clear opportunity to preserve or export creations where technically available.
The final Privacy Policy will explain what information is deleted, what may need to be retained, and for how long.
Changes to Mobloom
Mobloom will keep changing as we improve it.
Features, limits, supported Minecraft versions and paid plans may change over time.
Where a change materially affects a paid service or your data, we intend to communicate it clearly.
Questions
Questions about these terms, accounts, billing or data can be sent through the Mobloom Contact page.
Legal review required
This draft describes product intent only.
Before public launch, final Terms of Use must be reviewed for the jurisdictions where Mobloom will be offered, including requirements relevant to services used by children and purchased by adults.
